Why build a wood-frame house?

ACMB : our profession, building wood-frame houses

The reasons are many:

For personal pleasure.
Its thermal and hygrometric properties ensure high levels of comfort with low energy costs.
Its structure allows it to adapt to every terrain and above all to your desires.
Finally, its sturdiness (protected by the appropriate treatments), as wood-frame houses are known for their longevity (the oldest buildings were made of wood).

Wood-frame houses

It is for all these reasons and especially out of a passion for working with wood that ACMB has been building wood-frame houses for the past 20 years - almost 300 houses, each one unique - in the Vosges region of France.
